Gas & cylinder valves

Fire Protection Valve Production Line

Synchronous automatic assembly of the valve body, pressure gauge, stem and handle with vision-based pressure-gauge calibration.

Production challenge

Fire-protection valve assembly must coordinate the valve body, pressure gauge, stem and handle while setting the pressure-gauge pointer within a controlled angular tolerance.

Dading solution

Three synchronous machine modules complete component assembly and automatic transfer. Two vision systems use a combined algorithm to calculate and calibrate the gauge-pointer angle to the documented ±2-degree tolerance.

The final machine architecture is confirmed against customer samples, drawings, applicable standards and the agreed acceptance protocol.

Four-part assembly

Valve body, pressure gauge, stem and handle are assembled in one automatic production sequence.

Dual-camera calibration

Two vision systems calculate the pressure-gauge pointer position.
